On March 25th, I was walking from Bliss Annex Hall to Eickhoff Hall to get lunch. As I was walking I saw people surrounding Rosco’s statue. As I started getting closer, I saw their signs and started to piece together what was happening. I asked a police officer to make sure and he explained that the group was at the college to express their own beliefs about LGBTQIA+ and women.

I personally felt pretty shaken up and it inspired me to ask others about their experience. I decided to interview one of my freshman friends, who was with me when it happened, and asked her how she felt about the event.
