Welcome to my site! I am a freshman honors student at The College of New Jersey majoring in journalism and professional writing and minoring in communication studies. The combination of writing and public relations is the ideal fit for me.

I have a strong interest in health news and writing pieces related to medicine, beauty, skincare and wellness. Health journalism is universal to every reader, and I aspire to inspire people to be their happiest and healthiest selves.

I have always found joy in writing and learning others’ experiences through media storytelling. My former nonprofit organization Kick It Cancer (www.kickitcancer.org) has taught me invaluable skills in community outreach and digital media, leading me to study both journalism and communications through relevant coursework.

I love meeting and connecting with new people and lending a helping hand. This led to my involvement on campus as a College Ambassador at The College of New Jersey, demonstrating great communication skills while hosting daily, group, and weekly tours as an employee at the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.  I also spend my time on campus as a News Anchor for LTV News,  a Feature Writer for Her Campus Media and a News Assistant for The Signal– TCNJ’s award-winning, student-produced, weekly newspaper– positions I wholeheartedly enjoy.

I am also currently researching the positive and negative effects of consuming chocolate and coffee for a publication next spring with the The College of New Jersey’s Journalism and Professional Writing department.
