Here’s our top 3 favorite blog sections.

1. The Guardian

The Guardian gets our number one spot. They have a great environment section and a specific section for climate change. The Guardian’s editor-in-chief, Alan Rusbridger, has just launched a series with journalist and author of This Changes Everything, Naomi Klein.

Rusbridger explains the why he’s making the effort to confront the reality of climate change. He writes,

“…The Earth’s climate rarely make it to the top of the news list. The changes may be happening too fast for human comfort, but they happen too slowly for the newsmakers – and, to be fair, for most readers.

These events that have yet to materialize may dwarf anything journalists have had to cover over the past troubled century. There may be untold catastrophes, famines, floods, droughts, wars, migrations and sufferings just around the corner.”

2. Mother Jones’ Blog Section

Sure Mother Jones is heavily partisan in favor of the Democrats, but in America environmental protection and climate change are partisan issues. In many countries both the conservative and progressive parties agree that climate change is real and man made. Meanwhile in Washington, Over 55% of Congressional Republicans and 72% of Republican Senators deny climate change. If you want climate change news, climate deniers will regard the source as “liberal media” regardless of which the source you cite… even if it’s a peer reviewed scientific report. You may as well read something partisan

3. The New York Times Dot Earth’s Andrew Revkin

The New York Times is only considered partisan by the most fervent GOP supporters. Contributor Andrew Revkin has been writing for Dot Earth for years and his articles are fantastic.

His article “Skeptic Talking Point Melts Away as an Inconvenient Physicist Confirms Warming” is worth pointing out specifically but all of his work is fantastic.
