Lori Ann Rambough, better known as Sommore, is a Trenton-born comedian known for being one of America’s top female entertainers since 1994 and is still famous to this day, producing funny and entertaining content annually. She is most well known for her frank and cunning jokes surrounding current social issues and feminism and is highlighted constantly in the media today for her witty and daring comments. Sommore rose to fame in the late 1990’s, appearing as the first ever female host on BET’s, Comic View.After that, she received the Richard Pryor Award for Comic of the Year. Today, she is priding herself on being a, “self-made woman” and is producing her own stand-up comedy show that is supposed to air this upcoming year. Moreover, her family is well-known nationally and locally; her half-sister is Nia Long, a staple on the infamous TV show, Fresh Prince of Bel Aire, and her father, Doughtry Long, is a well-known Trenton-celebrity known for his involvement in the education system and his poetry skills.  Sommore, originally attending college for a business administration degree, is one of the most well-known female comedians of our time and one of the most decorated celebrities to come from Trenton, NJ.
