• What happened after the Hedgepeth-Williams case? I can research how the education system has changed as well as how this influenced the civil rights movement. This topic has a lot of area of expansion, such as learning about Gladys Hedgepeth and Berline Williams themselves as well as their children and how this changed their lives.
• The influence of music outside of Trenton and how this influence people all over the country. In this class Trenton has been a focal point of music and its history but this topic can explore the various changes of the world as music outwardly expanded from Trenton. Moreover, how surrounding areas experienced a musical shift over history and any possible relations to Trenton from this.
• The different genres of music evolving in Trenton and their uniqueness. Trenton has experienced all types of music from jazz, funk, to disco, and how each of these types of music formed and are different in their own ways would explain the evolution of Trenton over time with relation to music. This topic could also help explain how Trenton is today and the influences it has experienced over time.
