My Search for the Honey Mustard Special
The quest for a sandwich 10 years in the making, I ventured to Pennington bagel to see if I could still get The Honey Mustard Special Bagel, my sister frequented while a TCNJ student. Listen to my segment to find out if I was able to get my craving and how these bagels compare to my beloved shop back home.

I don’t particularly like breakfast but bagels are one thing I will eat.
I’ll eat just about anything resembling a bagel.
With that being said, I do still have a reasonably refined pallet.
And can tell if what I’m eating is the real thing,
or one of those knock pieces of Italian bread they call bagels from the dinning hall.
My love for these versatile rounds of dough
Is so much so that I named my pet rabbit Bagel
This is him resting with me.
Since I’ve been a TCNJ student I’ve been jonesing for my regular spot
Flanders bagels, back home
This was my beloved after school snack in high school
My order, a toasted sesame bagel with vegetable cream cheese.
This also happens to be my whole family bagel order.
And a Saturday morning staple.
My sister also went to TCNJ, so I didn’t not fret when transferring here,
Pennington Bagel “ Its a little different, but you’ll like it” said my sister.
My first visit to Pennington Bagel was in 2010 while we moved my sister in.
Honestly I remember nothing other than my sister changed her typical order.
Pennington Bagel had a special, the honey mustard special.
A sesame bagel with honey mustard cream cheese, cucumber, lettuce and tomato.
My tastes weren’t that refined as an 11-year-old so I passed at the time.
But now as a TCNJ myself now, I wanted to try it.
On my quest for the honey mustard special sandwich:
I not only was told to put my camera away while filming,
But that they don’t make the honey mustard cream cheese anymore.
So Instead, I ordered my usual.
And sadly wished for a piece of Pennington Bagel’s past.
I do have to say it was a pretty good bagel,
and my addition of barbecue potatoes chips made the bagel.
But the real question is, was it better than my bagels at home.
Yeah actually it was!
