Thanksgiving has become more of a controversial holiday in the past decade, similar to Columbus day, due to the origin of the holiday. Recent political, financial, and social trends have soured the holiday in the minds of a lot of people. Most people still want to celebrate though, an article by a recent survey from Daily Capital reports that around 68% of Americans say they are still planning to celebrate. In recent years, more articles on the myth of the Thanksgiving origin have been popping up over the years, leading some to ask the question of if they should celebrate.
