During these exceptionally bleak times, it’s easy to lose sight of the impact that education can have on our lives, especially in terms of navigating the heightened tensions within our current political climate. On October 28, I had the pleasure of speaking with TCNJ Junior Jess Abolafia, who feels that her interdisciplinary studies thus far have equipped her with the necessary means to transform her perspective of the world as a whole. She shares her thoughts on the importance of critical race theory, and how one particular class has changed her life entirely.
