Yixuan Pan is a Chinese-born artist based out of Philadelphia. She is the current artist in residence at The College of New Jersey Art Gallery. Her projects specialize in conducting in an anti-disciplinary fashion and deconstructing parts of a choir.

Pan hosted a series of workshops at the gallery open to student participation focusing on listening, synchronizing, and translation. Pan shares a bit about her current project, it’s origins and her goals for her Visual Scores workshop that took place on October 25th.
