Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA)
Provides a carried list of support groups for people with social anxiety in many different states across the United States. Also provides virtual options. The list also expands to Australia and South Africa. If you want to post your own listing, you can do that through ADAA as well.

Social Anxiety and Social Phobia
This is a forum for people with social anxiety that provides recovery information, discussions, spirituality, therapy, medication, self-help, and treatment. You’ll be able to join a community that is provided by groups from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, India, and Ireland.
Social Anxiety/ Social Phobics Anonymous
This website provides helping blocks to people with social anxiety, social phobia, avoidant personality disorder, paruresis, and people who are shy. SPA (social phobics anonymous) provides a non pressuring 12 step program that helps with social anxiety problems. This 12 step program is free and expands to both the local community and international group calls.
Social Anxeity Meetup
The website called Meetup.com provides a channel for people with social anxiety to find support groups that are near them. It’s recommended to bring someone with you when meeting up with a new group. This is an international website with groups that can be found all over the world.
Social Anxiety Support Chat
This chat was started in 2007 to support people with social anxiety. It gives them a space to freely chat to others that are going through the same issues and learn about different methods to battle these issues. This is an international chatroom for people all over the country to connect.
Helpful Resources
Check out your own college support and therapy groups. Go to your health and wellness center located on your campus and sign up for some individual or group therapy sessions.
Are you a college student entering the workforce soon? Then Morra Aaron Mele is the person for you. She is the creator of The Anxious Achiever, which is a podcast that talks about anxiety in the workplace and how to deal with it and bring light to it. This is useful for anyone who is struggling with social anxiety or other types of anxiety to see how to handle anxiety when working or starting to work. Mele is also a person that has tackled introvertism and anxiety, so she is a great personal source to explore and learn from.
