I chose to continue the story I started regarding the legacy of Greg Grant. I created a short profile of Grant’s career as a basketball player at TCNJ and his subsequent rise to the NBA. I used the current TCNJ basketball coach, Matthew Goldsmith, as a reference for the interview portion. The audio itself is more of myself telling the story in podcast format and using the interview with Coach Goldsmith as a reference point for how Grant’s legacy has continued in the TCNJ basketball program. Grant is both inspirational as a basketball player and someone who was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. He rose from humble beginnings playing basketball on a playground to the courts of the highest division of basketball in the world. I hope it was informative on his legacy, as I tried to weave a narrative arc into the podcast itself. His story actually includes a lot more that I did not touch on, such as his coaching career and his charity work in Trenton. I hope you enjoy.
