Hey everyone! Come with me and my sister to try Jersey Girl Cafe located in Hamilton, NJ.
Serving the Hamilton area since 2011, Jersey Girl Cafe offers breakfast sandwiches, served all day, along with soups, salads, sandwiches and bowls for lunch and dinner. They also have some seafood and vegetarian menu items if you’re not a meat eater, which is awesome!
They were even featured on a 2016 episode of Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, which is really cool if you’re a big Guy Fieri fan like me.
The restaurant itself is pretty small inside but the seating area definitely feels comfortable, it wasn’t crowded or cramped at all.
As you can see there was no one in the restaurant at the time we were there so you can kind of get a feel for what it’s like without it being super crowded.
I loved these little sayings they had on the tables, they were all about New Jersey and I thought they were so cute, I flipped through them while we waited for our food.
We only waited about five minutes between ordering and getting our food which was great, everything came out super quick.
I decided on the pastrami reuben panini which has swiss cheese, sauerkraut and thousand island dressing on it.
My sister got the turkey and brie panini which had berry mayo on it, as well as the soup of the day which was chicken & brown rice.
We also got the garlic parmesan tots to share, which were super crispy and perfectly garlicky and covered in parmesan cheese, I was definitely a fan of them.
I really liked my sandwich, I thought it had the perfect ratio of ingredients, it wasn’t overly cheesy and not too much dressing, and I love how the bread was perfectly warm and toasty.
My sister also liked her soup and sandwich, she said the brie was nice and melty and the berry mayo had a tartness to it that was a good compliment to everything.
So if you’re in the area I definitely recommend Jersey Girl Cafe, they are open from 9 am – 8 pm Tuesday thru Friday, from 9 – 4 on Saturday and Sunday, and they’re closed on Mondays, so definitely go check them out!
