Video Story: jammin’ Crêpes

Today I will review a popular Princeton eatery on Nassau St., the 2016 winner of the Golden Popsicle award. This restaurant has always been one of my favorite small businesses in Princeton. It has amazing crêpes with fresh ingredients, and is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat.

Hello Everyone! Today I am sitting on Nassau street right outside of Jammin’ Crêpes. It’s pretty popular. Today it is very busy, so we have to sit outside to wait to be seated. So this is a pretty popular eatery in Princeton.

Today I ordered the lemon lavender crêpe, usually one of my favorites on the menu. As you can see it’s not very syrupy, it has a nice light texture to it. Definitely better than the crêpe place on campus (TCNJ) if you’ve ever been to that one. I can taste the lemon more than I can taste the lavender, it’s definitely very subtle.

What are you eating?

This is the caramel apple à la mode. The ice cream is from the Bent Spoon around the corner. It’s actually good. I’m usually not a fan of all of the food, but this is actually good.

What did you order?

I ordered the veggie goat.

How is it?

It’s filled with goat cheese and different kinds of vegetables.

Is this your favorite thing on the menu?

No, I like the kimchi.

Overall, I would say our experience eating here was pretty good as per usual. The wait to get a table was 25 minutes but we were seated after 15 minutes even though they are very busy on Sundays. The service is dependable here and the staff is always very polite. They let me get a lot of footage behind the counter today. I like the fact that it is very much a small business that supports other small businesses. Jammin’ Crepes sources their coffee and ice cream from local eateries: The popular cafe: Small world and the bent spoon an award winning destination for ice cream. It is a good place to get a quick bite if a crêpe is what you are craving.
