The Backrooms and Internet Horror: A Quick Look

Internet horror is always something that has fascinated me as a medium. Ever since my cousins showed me Nightmare on Elm Street after school when I was eight, I was enamored with horror. I love the feeling and the mystery of it all. So, when I was old enough to truly get unsupervised internet access, naturally one of my first discoveries was horror. I found a treasure trove of what were essentially spooky campfire stories, along with the like-minded people making them. The craft fell off a bit as the internet grew more and more corporatized and less and less novel, but it’s making its way back into view as of late. In this short audio story, I talk about one of the most recent popularized internet horror stories.
