Citizens’ Climate Lobby at TCNJ

For this audio story, I spoke with Madeline Stahl, the President of the TCNJ chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby; who, according to their website, are “a non-profit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change.” Stahl started working towards school recognition last semester, and had the opportunity to travel to DC for a CCL conference and a chance to sit with members of Congress about environmental policy changes to ensure a healthier planet. I asked her why TCNJ should care about climate change, and her answer was simple: everyone should care about climate change. In a time when the facts and consensus are called into question daily, CCL hopes to bridge the gap between the left and the right and find an avenue of unity towards a better planet.
