I am Alyssa. I am a freshman journalism and professional writing major. In the future, I hope to write for newspapers and magazines and maybe even write books of my own.

Currently, I write for The Signal, the newspaper at TCNJ. I have covered the Slut Walk, CUB's Silent Disco, Student Soloist Night, and other events on campus. I will continue writing for the paper and I hope to serve as an editor during my time at TCNJ.

I have also wrote an article for TCNJ's HerCampus chapter, an online publication for colleges across the country, that won an editor's choice award. I went to New York City to cover College Fashion Week and it was a truly incredible experience.
