The stress of 2020 has taken its toll on college students across the United States.

2020 has been a very interesting year, to say the least. A pandemic has rocked the entire world, leaving many people feeling vulnerable and frightened of what is to come next, especially in a life that is already so unpredictable. Specifically within the United States, a country which has surpassed 9 million COVID-19 cases, is currently in the midst of an election year. And many of the people that are voting for the first time in what can only be described as a very stressful election year are college students. In an interview with a fellow college student, Elisa Leneus, we discuss how she’s handling this monster of a year, what she thinks of 2020 so far, and what she’s doing to better her mental health during this stressful time.
