Hi! My name is Christine Houghton and I’m a freshman journalism major at The College of New Jersey and am planning to add a Communication double major on the radio, television and film track as I begin my sophomore year. Upon graduation with these two majors, I hope to pursue a career in sideline reporting for sporting events.

I am a high school graduate from Bishop George Ahr High School in Edison, NJ. I completed a four year degree graduating as the co-vice president of the Chinese National Honor Society, member of the National Honor Society and four-year holder of a National Honor Society scholarship.

My love of sports started at a young age as I played a little more than half a dozen sports growing up, most notably basketball, track and field as well as football. From the age of four I was always doing some sort of athletic activity, getting involved and learning all I could about the sport I was involved in.
