Trauma Informed Care & Its Effects on Children and Young Adults Draft

A story looking at the trauma children in Trenton have experienced. We would touch on the background of Trenton as well as many children living situation. It will then go on to talk about how this trauma affects the students. For information on this we will talk to the CMLA advisor who work with these students and the district closely. This story will form into a piece about how these children have experienced trauma as well as how it is affecting them now. We will both be talking to the advisor as well as coming up with ideas for the story.

A story about people who are trying to help. We would discuss what specifically they are doing as well as how the organizations function. I believe the story will form into an in depth look at how these organizations are run, why they are so important, and their effectiveness.
